What types of Mobile phone or Tablet do you repair?

We Repair all makes and models of mobile phones and smartphones.  If we can get the parts we can complete your repair.  Our most common devices and repairs are listed on our website, but if you can not find your specific make and model and/or problem then just contact us direct for a free no obligation quote.

How do I know if I need the LCD repair or not?

Most phones and tablets made today have bonded glass and LCD units.  Therefore even if the glass is cracked but the LCD is working perfectly, it will normally require a full glass and LCD replacement unit.  If we can replace just the glass such as in an iPad then we will display the glass only price, but if you do not see a glass only option then it will be because its a bonded unit.

Some companies will offer to do glass only replacement on units such as Samsung or Apple phones.  We do not advise this as they are made by the manufacturer to be bonded and not to be split.  Utilising a service like this can cause future issues with touch screen and a “burning” effect on the LCD which will mean you will have to have the full unit replaced anyway.  We replace screens the way the manufacturer themselves would.

Do you need my SIM card?

No we do not need your SIM card but without it we cannot fully test your device.

What is the repair process?

When you visit us for your mobile phone or tablet repair, we will review your device and provide an initial assessment of the problem. Based on the problem, we can offer a free estimate and time when you can expect to pick up your repaired mobile device (if we have the part in stock this will be same day and in most cases within 30 minutes). Depending on the severity of the problem, you are free to wait or return later for pick up. If it looks like it is a larger job than same day turnaround, we will let you know right away.

What is the typical turnaround time on repairs?

We know how important your device is to you and can usually repair and return your mobile phone within 30 minutes. We carry a multitude of Smartphone replacement parts in stock. Plus, we stock large numbers of screen assemblies, charging ports, cameras, batteries, tablet supplies, and more. Some parts may require a special order, but due to our large network of suppliers we can generally obtain parts next working day.

How much does it cost?

Can I Just walk in to your store or do I have to make an appointment?

This is completely your choice.  If you are wanting to come into one of our stores you are welcome to just come in and we will repair your device as quickly as we can.  Some customers prefer to book an appointment to ensure we have the stock in for your repair and we can start your repair as soon as you come in.

For Out of Hours repairs and for the Mobile on site repairs, these must be booked in advance, either online, via email or via telephone.

Do I need to backup my device before coming to you?

We advise that all devices are backed up before being brought to us, however for simple repairs the likelihood of you loosing any data is very small.  For water damaged or very badly damaged devices, we will try our best to retain your data but sometimes this is not possible.

What about my sim card ?

Typically we do not require the sim card from the phone, however for signal issues or call related issues, we would prefer to retain your SIM card for the duration of the repair.

What kind of parts do you use for repairs?

We will use original parts where available. If original parts are not available we will source the next best thing OEM parts from the same factories that produce the parts.  If you need clarification of the particular parts used on your repair, please don’t hesitate to ask.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as PayPal (subject to a processing fee). If your coming to collect in person you can pay by cash. Payment by online bank transfer can be arranged by special request.
